I'd been contemplating getting a DIY grade scanner for some time. It's clear that the electronic systems of cars are growing ever more complex and the ability to manipulate things like EPB, SAS, etc is ever more important. After watching many reviews, I'd pretty much settled on an MX808. Since that model is on its way out I found the MX900 with more features, and a price quite a bit less than anywhere else. Called asked some questions, made the purchase and it showed up on my porch the next day... Learning how it will benefit many aspects of testing / troubleshooting / maintenance.

Used it on some hard to remove bellhousing bolts on a 4L 60E transmission, this tool worked like a Champ! Thank you, It is very useful!! I am sure it will be useful on many other applications!

Excellent description of operation and use included. I was wondering what frequency range you used and your brief description did a great job of explaining. The tool worked perfectly as advertised. You even greased the fittings with gear oil - That’s American workmanship!

Definitely cannot beat the price for what your actually recieving. I Recieved a call from Sam only hours later after purchase and offered to email a pic of the scratched off activation code or mail the card by snail mail. I elected to have him email me a pic of the back of the card and had my Elite up to date all within the same day of purchase flawlessly. Could Not be anymore satisfied with 1 Source Tool.
